Ebenezer Matobo

Ebenezer Matobo, an organization AgGrandize partners with in Zimbabwe, operates an apprenticeship model that disciples young people within an agricultural business context to give them the skills, expertise and capability to sustain themselves through ag businesses while investing in their spiritual formation.

Ebenezer Matobo provides full-time residential apprenticeships in agriculture that last anywhere from 3 months to 2 years. The immersive experiences include discipleship in the teachings of Jesus that foster faith-based communities and hands-on-training in the running of an agricultural business. Participants graduate with skills they leverage to land jobs or create them and establish strong communities where they live and work.

AgGrandize is excited to partner with Ebenezer to equip young people with the skills to contribute meaningfully in their communities through agriculture businesses.

Donations to this project will enable Ebenezer to increase their capacity of layer chickens, and fields of tomatoes, butternut squash, and watermelons. This will enable Ebenezer to teach more students in more trades, and improve their financial self-sufficiency.
